I basically picked Nikon b/c my brother has a lot of nikon lens he was just giving me.

on paper i thought the nikon d5000 looked better than the canon xsi. i honestly don't really care either way i just want the best i can get for the money.

if your looking at the d5000 then compare it with the t1i not the xsi.

a little late, but thanks. i was comparing price points and the xsi and d5000 are closer to what i wanted to spend. i ended up ordering the T1i and should be here later this week.

semper just won the POTM with a canon XS. if you got a 50d you've got no excuses.
