He's probably pushin close to 8" tl now. I got him for my girl on her b-day mid-february this year from city pets at about 1.25" tl.

He eats nls thera a jumbo as a staple along with frequent table shrimp, green peas, bloodworms, and brine shrimp with spirulina. His growth hasn't slowed at all yet. I forsee a minimum 140g cubish tank in the very near future. I've already got an acrylic wetdry, 30x18x16 wetdry for him with quite one 3000 pump. Still piecing it together, but I think I still hav some time. I'm going to run filter socks. I think it will be better then just canisters. Along with the wetdry I want to run a fx5.

Sounds like some good growth, I got mine in April it was about 1.75" its around 5"-5.5" right now. Im starting to try and switch it over to pellets now. Should have done it a while back honestly. Im gonna try and get it in a 55g soon but it'll end up in a 150.

between the light color sand and the holey rock the aquarium looks so bright, especially in pictures. Dark rocks would give me a good look and fish might darken up a little too....
