I believe that would be a pulsing xenia coral.

one of the more forgiving soft corals.

Actually it's anthelia. Just as forgiving, looks almost the same except for the pulsing part. Haha

As for FW vs. SW. I have both. I also have a 180gal FOWLR ("fish only with live rock" for you FW geeks )) and a 55gal Neolamp savoryi species tank.
