    Cyprichromis Kekese photo shoot

    I finally took the time to shoot my Cyp colony. Here are the best images from the shoot. Unfortunately I couldn't get the iridescent blues in the dominant male to show true to life, but was able to get some good images.

      I went back with Photoshop and was able to lighten the images and bring out more detail as well as more of the blue in the dominant male. Let me know what yall think.

                Awsome Gene, you made me miss my old group!! I remember the female were all holding at the same time like yours which makes me wonder if this is their normal behavior ? The color on the male is exceptional.

                        Looks really good gene!

                        What camera, lens, and setting do you have those pictures on?

                        I see a lot of lighting coming down from the top in some of those pictures.

                        Is it remote flash or just a lot of over head tank light?
                        I ate my fish that died.

                              Sorry Thai I forgot the exposure. The exposures were all made between .400-.500S @ f8. Thanks again for all the kind words folks. These are some of the best aquatic images I have been able to pull off. Now I just need to adjust the AF settings for greater depth of field to ensure complete focus.
