Yeah, or you can buy a thread pvc elbow and point it downwards so its really close to the glass bottom, that way you don't have to worry about the pump running dry as well.

BTW, watcha gonna keep corys and oto cats with? You can have both, depending on what your main fish is. The otos will be good for algae, and the corys will keep the substrate clean. My favorite are panda corys or sterbai corys.All bleeding stops eventually...Comment
