Very nice and unique. Plain but functional. I like it.

Not my cup of tea personally, but the fish really do take center stage. Love those Oscars.

Dawn, what's up with the rocks in that formation? Is that the fish I let you have?

We used the rocks to fill in the gaps & break up the flatness the slate creates. The slate pieces are 12"x12". The tank is 6' long & 18" wide so after laying the slate we had an area 6 feet long and 6 inches wide of nothing but bare bottom, lol. We accidentally broke one piece of slate in half, tossed it out & put rocks on both sides of the middle piece, which we centered in front of the overflow, so it wouldn't be uneven.

And yes Josiah, that is the fish you sent home with me. He's eating like a pig, growing up nicely & follows Demon (the bigger Banded Leporinus) around like a puppy. :)

Sparticus is constantly on the move. He hardly ever stays still, as you can see. He's probably has ADHD, lol. Just a few minutes ago he was hanging upside down cleaning the water jets & he likes to hover straight up and down mid-water to eat the Oscar's pellets.

                  Yep...he's a dork-fish.

I swear he would eat it if the Oscar's didn't. I shoulda named him Mikey. He'll eat anything.

I had a pair of plecos that did the same thing! They were pushing around 10-12" and eating like monsters! It was interesting to watch them swim across the tank like a hovercraft. I've never really seen plecos act so outgoing like that before. I tossed them in my dad's pond when I went to visit my parents. I still don't know if he knows they're in there

He's a good 11 inches & will challenge the O's for their food, lol. He's slower, but if one drifts his way he's taking it! I'll have to get a shot of him floating head up eating a pellet he ganked, lol.
