I like them too, but I kinda like the fact that less people have the Bolivians. I do however have experience with GBR's but none with Bolivians. I was also wondering if it would be possible to have a pair of each in there together, but Im thinking thats a bit much. In other news, I saw my two Swordtails spawning today. I have read though that the Veiltail Swords cannot spawn though, is this true?

True, a lot less people have the Bolivians. Some guy was selling some Gold rams a while back, those are pretty cool and not so common. I have no experience with any rams or small fish other than livebearers. It could be possible? I don't know. Also have no clue if the swords cannot spawn.

I was told that this type of Bristlenose does not get near as big as the common bristlenose. Maybe 5 to 6 inches max. Does anyone here have experience with these? Thanks for any help given.

What kind of bristlenose is it? I've seen most max out at around 4-5" and then there were few that I've seen hit the 6-7" mark. Mine is about 5". You could handle them the same way you do any bristlenose.

Hey Mista! It is the one in the pic I posted. I moved this question to Catfish and other Bottom Dwellers though so it can be singled out though. Thanks!

have to say, the tank looks great. i love the swordtails. if they are fertile, you will know soon enough. i would probably get one more female so that the males attention would be divided, he can stress her out if one-on-one. then again, the rams will help with population control. glad the rummynose are working out for you... by the way, after you left i did find one more bumblebee cat in that tank.
                  my fish house:
                  2.5g- ramshorn hatchery

29g- geo grow-out, angels, 12"fire eel, dwarf frog, apple snails
45g- jade sleeper gobies, native killifish, feeder endlers

                  75g-
2 oscars, parrot, silver dollars, albino channel cat, syno euptera, bichir, baby jaguar, convicts, yabby
                  125g- fahaka puffer, rainbow shark
                  and about a dozen bettas....

Haha you would have! The two I got are doing great but I need to make another cave, they fight over the big cave in the tank. I am not a big swordtail person but when I saw that Lyretail for 2 bucks I had to grab it. Thanks for the compliments Ally and the Rummy's are still some of my favorite.

as far as the cats, my trio shares a spot under some driftwood, they're always together. and the rummys, glad they were worth the effort.

Some updated pics of my tank. I LOVE this Amazonia substrate. The plants are thriving and I am doing little on my part other than dosing excel every once in a while. I plan on using this substrate for all my planted tanks in the future.

Does anyone know what type of plant that is that big with the spirally leaves? I forgot to write down the name of it when I bought it.
