Thank you! The wood is actually Cypress knees I cut when our lake was low. Had them soaking to release tannins for over a month. I finally got to put them in!

i have the actual cypress knees and they are super bouyant. i had to bolt them down to a stainless steel plate. you may not want to advertise that you wild collected them locally though. i have been told that they are protected in texas, which is why i bought mine from a florida based collector. they are great pieces though, i love the look of them.
