My tank!

I added mopani and attached anubus to it, that was a pain to do with my big fingers. Planted some java fern. What do you think so far ? Any suggestions?

Not bad, for big fingers! Lol.
But, 2 suggestions- First: more plants. Lots moar!! Find some stuff that will work, and go for it.
And second, that java fern should be tied, or wedged in a crack of wood/rock as well, it doesn't like to be buried. Just like the anubias.

This ^. Most ferns and anubias don't like their rhizome being buried. They'll start to melt after a while.

I was planning on going to HAS auction but I think im too hung over at this stage ...

I do plan to add more plants, was thinking about trying to grow a grass on a slate.

I would double check but I think you might need more lighting for your tank

looking good, if you plan to have more corydoras is better to trade your pebbles for some sand, they like sandy substrates as pebbles hurt their barbs.

I think im maxed out on my fish for a while. I got jinxed on the dwarf gourami, he doesn't like the platys or german blue rams

Try some mosses, they like low light and do very well. It has small roots and you use cotton thread to tie it onto those pots or driftwood and it will slowly grow and cover it. Great looking tank thus far, one terrific thing about every tank is that there is not another one like it.

Would Christmas moss grown in my tank with its low light ? I am thinking across some slate and/or across one or two of the pots.

Time to get some magic beans aka Purigen to absorb tannins released by the driftwood

You'll probably have to use it as long as you have driftwood in the tank. On the plus side, Purigen can be regenerated rather easily and used for a long time.

What are the last two fish that you put in, minus the pleco? African Cichlid?

For your driftwood you could boil it.
