I've sent a join request. I've looked over the first 2 weeks assignments and the composition ones look mostly doable. The tech ones... well despite using camera's on and off for 35 years I apparently don't know anything! :P
So how do we start? With the current assignment or go back and do the ones previously til caught up?Guppies:
Hi-fin pepper Cory's, Black Cory's, Long Fin Golden Aneus, Swordtails, some lyretail(RREA's, Red, Albino Koi, Red & Gold Tux), Different types of BN plecos(albino, calico, long fin, blue eyed short & long fin)
Mystery Snails, Yellow Shrimp, CPDs

Feel free to start from the first week or skip to 2nd week. Upload to flickr and use [ URL ] to post that pic in the thread. He compositions should be very doable. Generally for compositions we ask that you do not crop the picture, but take the time to take the shot right. Sometimes you have to take multiple shots of the same scene and later choose which one you like the best at the end. Last thing we ask for is to have fun and try something new.
Because of mothers day, some people asked that last weeks assignment be extended.

Thanks hangman,
I forgot to mention that all assignments need to be taken when the assignments are given. No using old pics, makes it fair for everyone. The nicer aspect of this photo group over others is that you can stage your shots if you want. As of now you can move things to make your composition work. Other photo assignment groups I've been in forces you to look for the composition and not physically move anything. I plan it this way because alot of us have jobs and don't have the time to spend hours looking for the right shot.

Thanks for the clarification.. Will retake a recent pic :) Does a retake of a previous shot count? Not neccessarily the shot I posted, but because I usually take a lot of pics just for the sake of taking pictures, finding something unique that I have not taken a picture could prove challenging..

You can, but remember the point of these exercises is to challenge yourself. Push yourself to try something different or new, it's much more rewarding than copying old work. It also broadens your photography palette.
