Thanks! I'll have to go check them out. How can you tell the difference between the emperor cichlid (Aulonocara nyassae) and Boulengerochromis microlepis?? Some articles actually call these guys emperors....

"Aulonocara" is a Peacock, come from Lake Malawi. Peacocks get a little over 6" from time to time.

Ok, well I messed that up. Is the Microlepis THE CICHLID. Like, the biggest cichlid. Like, the one that everybody talks about. I keep seeing pictures and articles that have fish that look like the microlepis, but are called EMPEROR CICHLIDS.
