They say a picture is worth a thousand words, here are a couple of pics.

Ill try to get a full tank shot tonight, as far as the feedings go, how many times do you think they eat out in the wild?? As you can see mine dont look like they are starving, as you know NLS is packed full of protein and vitamins. Ask the pros on cyphos what they think.

I am with cesar and dave minimal lighting looks good and feeding infrequently works.

These fish go days to weeks without eating so its normal. Also bloodworms offer little nutritional value.

210 gallon tank...empty.....wait till you see what is coming

i fixed the lighting situation. i'm only using one of my 36" lamps and they are already comfortable coming out. They've been all over my tank today.
I'm gonna try to get my hands on some black substrate and see how that looks and i'm trying to locate some rocks that will replace the caves.

Thanks again for all the useful info

Go white sand. I use CaribSea's Aragonite Select or you can use pool filter sand. My mobas love the light. I have 2 double tube light bars on top of my 6 foot tank. Consistency is the key. I have my lights on an auto-timer (6:30am-8am, 12 noon-1pm, 7pm-10pm). Moonlights on from 10pm til midnite.

I use holey rock and form caves with them. My juvies @ 2.25" when released into the 180g tank with larger mobas aren't skittish either.

I usually feed my mobas 1x per day and usually in the evening. I also skip feeding them 1-2 days during the week.
