    Xenotilapia spilopterus (Kilipi)

    Here are a couple of pictures of my new Xenotilapia spilopterus (Kilipi) I just got wanted to show them off. Picked them up from Mike (Bethestaboy) up in College Station.

    They are showing some colors, and they are getting better each day.





    What fish do Jesper have
    180 WC T. Moorii Chilambo +1 Petro trewavasae.
    110     Cyps, WC Xeno Spilopterus Kipili WC/F1/F2 T. sp red Kiku

        I cannot wait to get them to show more colors.. They dont look like a lot but I love their personality :) I am getting more of them when I head up to College Station again :)

            Right now looking at them and knowing that they need sand etc space, etc... I am going to get another 5 or 7 more.... I dont think the tank really should have anymore.. because of its size.. the tank has calmed so much more down which is what I love to see :)
            I will post more pictures later

                They don't get alot of color.... do they?

                  They get an iridescent pink/blue on them and it looks good!

                    Color wise they shine more (Those in the Petro tank some of them started to shine) and they get a reflective blue across their body (can be easily seen with the flash, but harder without the sharp light until they color up)
                    Its not much color, but I love them to dead, and yes I am getting more because when they school around they look AWESOME !!!!

                      The other thing I was going to say.. If you have a tank of cyps, this is the PERFECT fish to get with them, they will not interfere at ALL with the cyps, they will even school with them at night, they are just so cool. Just remember, lots of open sand, and it will make them happy.

                        Nice, I am growing out some paracyps that I got from Rob(jughead). Maybe in the future I could some of these.

                              No they are in the 110x-Tall (4ft tank)
                              There are Cyps, Occies and Xeno's together.. when I get some more of them I will take a picture of them where they will hopefully look really good
