found these. the quality is not that good but i can imagine what it looks like in person.

I haven't been on much lately. Things are still going very well. Breeding has slowed way down though. They must be on some kind of cycle. It has happened before where spawning didn't take place for two or three months. After that, it was more than ever. So, I'm sure they'll start back up soon...

Thanks, Rico. That didn't do much for me.

I sketched out a very basic design that I want for the rocks, and I think the white sand will look best for what I want to do. Since the tank's decor will be extremely simplistic (keeping in mind that I'm used to planted tanks), I want to have the rocks graduate outward from their "piles" to give it a little style. I think this might look good with white sand and black rocks.

The trick is to getting the idea in my head into my actual tank. That and actually finding the rocks I have in mind.

What hardscaping materials will you be putting in the tank with the black sand? Will you use any kind of background?

Whoa! That is amazing! So the fish went into hiding with the black sand?

Normally fishes try to blend in with the background.
Blue or dark color fish - black sand
                  Yellow, red - White sand
Ex. Red Discus with black sand or dark background, the fish will blend in with background, therefore it will have lots of black spots.

I'd love to, but I can't do it alone. I just posted a thread asking for help getting the 90g tank out of my garage and onto the stand. I can handle things from there, but I can't get anyone around me to help me move the tank.

I had hoped to have had the tank up and running by now. I even have some fish lined up; I just need to get the tank ready for them. I'm getting very anxious to get the tank going.

I don't know any of the neighbors in a way that makes me feel comfortable asking for help like this, and my family... long story... but I have no contact with them whatsoever by choice.
