  • Nimbichromis Linni are rare???

    Hi all

I have been searching high and low and everywhere for some larger female nimbichromis linni's.... Interesting thing is that I did get some at the Ohio fish auction over a year ago... Two large ones that were about 4 inches.

My hope was at least a pair... but no go on that... both males by venting.. and one of them have a fantastic blue tint......

Pam Chin over on the California side of things has some breeding colonies but is not wanting to release any...

The guy that I had gotten these from at the auction may have died and so no one knows what the poop is on him....

These fish are quite awesome and their manners quite tame as compared to others... Soooo Why do not people care for the weird ones anymore??

Anyone have any experiences with these??

    Thanks
    Bill
