Most look big enough to trade almost but how would yall go about catching them? I'm not getting rid of any Neo shells so that's out of the question.

Well, I upgraded their tank cause it was time for it....broke it all down and here are the roundabout numbers!

WC's 1m/4f
F1 Juvi's ~40-most showing their stripes already
F1 Fry~30-40

There was a buttload of them!!!!! I spent close to 2hrs netting fry out of the small tank into their new home....every time I thought I was done I found another!

Added some Holey Rock to the corners to keep the tank from looking so bare and sourced out another 20 Neothauma shell for the guys. I was lucky and also got a free Syndontis sp.???? that was in one of the shells...Luckily the water from all the other shells pour out into the bag so that it had enough water to survive. Another thing that saved it's life was I planned ahead since I was planning on hitting a LFS before having to be dragged to the mall so I brought my Styrofoam boxes and cool packs just in case I found something cool cause it was hot out today!

Got so much accomplished today.....

Upgraded Multi tank
Got more shells
Set up extra filter on new Multi tank
Got some new tools for work
Free catfish
Found some nice zebra nerites
Fiance spotted/bought a super nice teeny tiny red headed goby

Well here are some pictures of their new home.....not really diggen the THR but I didn't buy enough so when I get a chance to buy more I plan to change it up a bit.

Forgot to add.....if anyone sees any Neothauma, Viviparous, Whale eyes or escargot shells please let me know.....still think the tank needs more shells before they are all comfortable.

I have see some shell dwellers shells at the last 2 HAS auction. HLA has a auction on Aug 26 i think. Might try to find some there. I am not sure what kind the shells were. There were also some Lamprologus and neolamprolaogas species that went really cheap.

Ek,  Which LFS did you goto ?  I was at T&T Fish and Reptiles earlier today (Saturday around 4:00pm) and I noticed someone who had brought a Styrofoam box with them or two on a cart..  just wondering.....

I was at Ultimate.....I didn't buy any fish just the Neothauma shells. Did the guy roll IN the boxes or was he rolling them OUT? Shells or Shelldwellers?

I doubt I will be selling anything anytime soon....everyone thinks my prices are too high for whatever reason but I will trade fry if someone wants to do that.

The vivaparous snails shells are the japenese trap door snail or "periwinkles" if anyone knows where to find some please help a brother out!

I didn't actually see them but I thought I read a description on one of Megan's tanks that said Trap Door Snails.  I was there yesterday.  You might want to call them and ask.

I am a bit glad I didn't sell these cause at the price I would have lost out big time! they would have been less then $1 ea or even cheaper if you factor in the shells. 8O

The zebra Nerites are tiny saltwater critters I found at Aquarium World....I think I bought all what they had though the rest were ugly.

I got some other really cool looking ones too!

Was able to source out about 70 more neothauma shells....got 40 of them yesterday and waiting on the other 30 or so today.
