      They get big.  My 125 gallon came with a Frontosa.  He was I think around five years old and he was in excess of eight inches.  I don't have him anymore.  I don't know how fast they grow though.

        a year at most for fronts, mine grew to 4-5" in the first year.

          the calvus looks alot smaller the the comp... what you you estimate their sizes to be, h0nkZz?

            yea the calvus is smaller ... i got them on the same day but for some reason the comp tend to grow faster ... calvus it about 1.5" and comp about 2.5" ... i'm not sure if thats because the different amount of food they consume or maybe comps just grow faster than calvused in general ... anyone has any idea about that ?

                growth rate for eitheris unimportant to me because they are out of my price range for now. but i do love them. eventually, :(  i can dream cant i.
