  • I must be doing something right.

Ok last week I found my Red Jelweled's had layed eggs. Well I thought they ate them but it turned out a few survived...yesterday I saw 4 small specks swimming with adults, but today when I looked in nothing. I guess nature took it's corse

Just when I thought all hope was gone I looked into my mixed African tank and I see that both my auratus (2) and my kenyi (1) are holding. yeppy.

I have a 10gal tank up and running with a 2" gurami it's good and cycled also I have a 30gal with two 3" EBJD. Should I take my kenyi & auratus put them in the 10 gal untill they release. if i did this i would but the gurami in with the EBJDs. do you fish gods think this is a good idea or should i just hope for the best?

the auratus and kenyis are both mouth brooders.
    the fry should be fine.
i wouldnt remove them to another tank.

i would however strip the females at 15 days.
this way the fry will be free swimming.

put the fry in the 10g by themselves and feed crushed flakes and hikari frozen baby brine shrimp.

and do daily 50% water changes.

15 days from today or from first day of breeding (which I have know idea)
