These guys are nice... males can be quite aggressive and need plenty of room. I think 10 would work out well in a 60 by 18 footprint tank. I wouldn't add any more though. 4/6 sound like a good ratio... but you may want to cull a male and give it to cichlid1409.
Please tell me you aren't planning bare bottom for these guys as well... :)
These guys are not incredibly sensitive. I do 50% twice a week with my xenos.Last edited by armthehomeless; 12-18-2009, 02:18 PM.Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Ive housed them before, also the sister variant kilesa you'll be more than fine with that foot print, more floor space the better...............had some aggression with a group of 8,that was is a 75,nothing serious, theres alot more unmanageable fish than them thats forsure..................they are pretty touchy though.....water quality is a must, and watch for alot of deformities in the fry..................TROPHS 4 LIFE
