not a good idea,6ft min on tank size,but depending on the fish,f1's would stay smaller,ive had sucsess keeping smaller feather fins in a 75g,like my 3-4in TR dewindtis,but dont think even F1 sibwesa would do well in a 4ft tank even staying around 6in,probably wouldnt breed,and might not feel comforatble enough to color nice,maybe a 5ft 120g.........so really no lol,mine are going to 180g soon,and still feel kinda bad i dont have an 8footer for them any time soon.................

oh, aight, i guess if i do decide to take the plunge on these ill pickup a 210g 7ft, ive always loved the featherfins, these are by far the nicest along with benthos.
i also really like the tiger nasutas.

i used to have a trio of dewintis in with some julidochromis sp. pemba in a 60g 48x16x18 tank.
i liked them alot until the power was out for 13 days with ike:(
sadly no one made it.

it looked like that smaller male on the right was attemting to defend the right hand pit, but it didnt look like it was going very well, lol

yeah he tryed to start a pit,mr grumpy,as i like ti call him,wouldnt have any of it lol,6 females coming this weekend to help take a little of his wrath lol,although really aggerison,isnt that bad...........thanks guys

very very close,one of the littler girls was holding,but the male was on her to much,she felt too uncomfortable and spit,the others real interested,but surprizeingly nothing yet,just need one spawn to bring that dam female count up cost free lol
