I was watching "the making of planet Earth" on the History chanel. It was about the Sahara desert. 90,000 there were a string of great lakes across the desert, from Chad to Tunisia. As proof that these lakes were conected by a river, they showed this little cichlid that lives in t oasis in Tunisia.
That oasis cichlid is realated to some cichlids in Lake Tanganyika. The show did not say witch Tangankians it was realated to, as the lake has more than one family of cichlids.
