I'd like to buy those fronts from Algarciajr, but this is what my frontosa tank looks like now....suppose there is enough room for 5 more?

I am going to guess and say that there are maybe 40 fish in this tank now....the filtration consists of 2 emperor 400's....1 eheim 2217, a W/D rated at about 700 gph, and a sponge filter...

The mix is buffalo's calvus clowns L.trewavasae demonsi albino BN Green Phantoms and sunny the mushi ....and a few odd balls I have inherited over the past few months.....and oh yes.....probably 20 frontosa.

I would say you have no more room. the 20 fronts are gonna be too much in a years time.

i say go buy the 5 fronts and when a 300g+ tank comes along for a good price snag it and do a frontosa species tank with the clowns and calvus and leave the others in the 125g.

Fronts can take a lot. Your filtration is not "ideal" but I'm sure you can get away with it.

Yeah, I know that in time, I'll have to thin out the fronts' and get a bigger tank as well....good thing they grow fairly slowly....thanks for the comments all....

You are probably almost maxed out fishload wise. Fronts are slow growers though. You could probably add them without a problem.

I have had as many as 17 mobas ranging from 4" to over 11" with the majority of them over 7" and 50-75 F1 fry from 1" to 3" in my 180g tank running 2 2217 eheims.

I have since thinned out my tank and 10-11 wc mobas (the largest 2 are 11"+ males) the majority are smaller wc females. I have around 30 F1 fry/juvies.

                    Best of luck.
