MTS snail problem, suggestions?

I had this similar issue with my 150 a year or so back. I was pretty serious about getting rid of them, so I ditched my MTS infested sand and ran my tank bare-bottom for a few months. Totally flushed out my wet dry/bio-balls, got all new sponges and did a few small doses of snail away. After that I ran it bare bottom for another month or so before I added sand back into it. Once I did that I added 30-40 assassin snails just in case I missed any. Haven't seen an MTS since...
