The guys over at TF have their flash tied to a tripod sitting on the tank to accomplish what you are referring to jesper... I don't have a remote wire for mine nor do I know if its capable of handling it. Will it?

What I did on the first set of pictures I took with this camera I put the diffuser and the white cover over the flash and pointed it to the ceiling which helped a lot and I didn't have the settings set that time.

Jeebus, I took about 1000 pictures to get the ones above.

The fish were a bit frantic cause I woke them up at 3am so it took a while before they decided to wake up.... then their colors were not up to par like it usually is after being up for awhile.

Well, whatever was going at at 3am you managed to capture them at their best. Had you had these pictures to show me when I first joined the forum last year I would have never had to ask for help identifying Illangi from Kasanga!

YES !!!!!!!! you have both the high end camera and flash, so you can even go out and get some more flashes and your flash can act as a slave or master and you can have multiple flashes go off at the same time... Next time I will bring mine and I will show you what you can do :)

Well if you let other's pictures defer you from posting your pictures none of would be posting.... there are soo many good photographers out there on a hobbyist level and it made me hate my camera cause pictures never came out as nice.

Not to hi-jack your thread...

I wanted to show the difference between stock and upgraded tank lights, as seen by a camera with no flash.

Both these pictures were taken by comparable cameras at similar settings: F-Stop 3.5/4.0, Shutter Speed 1-60/1-80, & ISO200.

What a world of difference!
