  • Sushi-Nori for cichlids?

I was picking up a few labs at my LFS and I walked in on a frenzy of fish, splashing water everywhere as if their life depended on it. The clerk looks over at me and says "Sushi seaweed. THey go bonkers for it."
I would have thought that sushi seaweed would have been marine but I would like to try this in my tank as a treat for my fish, every once in a while. I have a lightly planted tank with 10 mbuna's, none reaching above 1 1/2".
College = fishless for now. Vicarious living!

I wrap it around a rock and secure it with rubber bands.

My fish have never touched it. I take that back, I had one fish that would shred it and make a mess. I tried it with Mbuna and Bristlenose with no luck.

Hmmm... I'll have to get some that's a little more fresh because they wouldn't touch it. They all swam away from it.
