Good! Feeders are definitely not the way to go. :)

I bet they eat the pleco's wafers! Those are good for them, and are probably formulated with a pretty similar dietary composition of what they would be eating in the wild.

Glad you're thinking about moving them to your 75. That's a great size. If you move them now, they'll grow even faster. Which is a good thing. If you keep up with water changes, you're okay sticking with the 29 for a month or two, but they really will need more room (more water) pretty soon. Especially since they eat so much!

Edit: And also, 3 common plecos in a 29g is...well...wow. Got a few hundred gallons lying around?

At fist I was really just into the flowerhorn scene, but the fish box made me see and learn alot of new things, also made the hobby more enjoyable, Thanks HFB!

Anyways... I'm currently feeding them Dainichi cichlid pellets (color fx) and 25% water change once a week or 30% in 2 weeks when i get lazy. I gave 2 of my plecos away and when this one hits 7+ inches I'm probably gonna give him away. The fish are growing fast, they make the tank look very crowded now, it looks like I'm gonna have to move them in 3-4 weeks. Thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts. Update on pics coming SOON!
