I have nearly always seen a lot of holy rock at the HAS auctions. Charles made a post on their message board that said:"The Spring Auction is tentatively scheduled for April 9". It has not officially been announced as far as I know. Maybe they will have this information posted in our forum for the clubs announcements soon.

I have 3 buckes of holey rock pieces & 3 or 4 large rocks sitting in my old fishroom back in Dickinson that are free if you can pick them up this week.
the new owner is going to bring in a dumpster and clean the place out.

you can visit Aquarium Environments off Tangley near the Rice Village. I hand-picked mine from a pile behind the office.........pricey though around $1.50/lb if I can remember.180g Oceanic w/colony of 8 WC Moba Fronts (1m/7f) purchased from TNT Cichlids in Jan '05 & numerous fry. 1 F1 adult moba male. 2 2217 Eheims, 2 6080 Tunze Streams, WISA airpump, single stage Johnson ETC.....fishkeeping since 1988.Comment

I just went to Fishland on Westheimer yesterday, they have holey rock for $1.19/lb but not as good a selection as Aquatic World. Aquatic World has a lot of smaller pieces. Fishland did have an $80 holey rock "showpiece" that was really nice tho.Comment

fish ranch off of 59 northbound side street before carmax between bellaire and hillcroft (forgot the name of the side street) but its called fish ranch or something like that.
