  • new 125g mbuna tank

set up has an eheim 2215, topfin 60, and wet/dry filter with a mag7. Hopefully that should be ok for now. For now I have mix mbunas including: 13 demasoni, 1 bumble bee, 4 acei, 1 socolofi, 3 elongatus, 3 chiloisi, 2 kenyis, 1 bluberry ob, 1 ob zebra, 3 redtops, 1 white top afra, 6 yellow labs, 2 johanni, 1 redtop fueliborni, 1 random albino peacock, 1 cobalt, and three v10s.

Hopefully I make up my mind and decide on a handful of species and start up some colonies. Any suggestions?

Nice tank. I switched to all Colorado River Rock (which looks just like your river rock, but that's what they called it) and the fish seem to like it just fine. In fact, it makes bigger spaces for the larger fish that can't take advantage of the holey rock.

You can expect a lot of action when those folks mature.

every considered removing the holey rock and adding more of the smooth river rock? Just a suggestion, nice setup though, plenty of room for some mbuna. Whats the stocklist?
