      • alright. I got a wild hair up my arse the other night and decided to change up the scape. I've been studying and researching Iwagumi styles for a month now and I'm trying real hard to achieve this. The scape that I came up with is not exactly Iwagumi but I've got some plans in the near future and I should be able to pull this off soon. Anyway, this is the new scape with an Iwagumi INSPIRED feel. Its minimal and clean and thats what I love about it. Any suggestions or tips???

        • I like it, looks clean.

I kind of like the old look better.

If you want iwagumi style you gots to use the pimp rocks.

          • I got some rocks in mind that I wanna buy. I need to save up some dough and get em. I also wanna get much bigger rocks. Like I said, I was just playing with what I already had but I promise I'm gonna achieve iwagumi real soon....

            • The iwagumi style is as much about the placement of the rocks as is the space of each rock compared to one another.

Just get really really (and I mean REALLY) dunk and start scaping. I fine it works well.

                • I like both scapes.

I've yet to scape my 125. Will probably do it after the holidays.

Still need to decide on rock type.

                  suggestions will be appreciated.

                  • Anything with good textures. The rest is up to you and what you like. I'm thinking grey, black or red rocks for my tank....

                    • Probably going with the red theme because of my gravel.

Need to go look for some mexican river rock.

Kind of thinking about a mountain range type layout.

                      • That sounds good Daniel. I saw some good river stones at Alamo Stone the last time I was there.
