  • Best LFS for African Cichlids?

    Hi,

I am looking to do some shopping this weekend. I am looking for demasoni, yellow labs, and maybe red zebras. I will probably add the labs first.

I am familiar with Fish Gallery and they seem good but a little expensive, are there other stores with good quality cichlids? I am located in the Woodlands but will travel anywhere for good looking healthy fish. Tank just cycled, ammonia is zero, nitrites zero, nitrates low (~10ppm) so I am ready for the fish!

    Thanks for any help.

Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Id say go to either Fish Land or Ultimate Fish. Both are great stores but Ultimate is a tad more expensive. Good luck with your search.
