            Congrats!!!!!!!! Strip her on day 10 like you are planning. I don't feed the tank for the first 5 days and then feed only lightly watching to see if the holding females swims up to the food to bump it and not eat it.

            Many females will either spit or swallow any unfertilized eggs by day 5 post-spawn. If she holds to 10 days great, if not, you know you have another opportunity.

            We all want this spawn to be successful as this is a rare fish.
            180g Oceanic w/colony of 8 WC Moba Fronts (1m/7f) purchased from TNT Cichlids in Jan '05 & numerous fry. 1 F1 adult moba male. 2 2217 Eheims, 2 6080 Tunze Streams, WISA airpump, single stage Johnson ETC.....fishkeeping since 1988.

              Sorry Gene, I was gone for the weekend and I came in late last night. This morning when I fed the petros, she did not eat but her mouth has gotten smaller. I'm assuming she ate some of her eggs.
