Speaking for myself, (and fishlady, most likely), there is no need to apologize for a good healthy sense of humor. I understand it wasn't meant to be personal, just humorus, which it was....very....
Our world today is full of enough stress and unwanted pressures, and a good laugh is always welcomed I say, and maybe even a warm hug now and then. (Note to self: Hug fishlady more often)
I hope that you ALL continue to feel free to share any points of view you may have in the future, espeically those which make us smile.

Truth is the cement that holds the bricks and stones of a sane and civilized society together. Remove the former and the latter will crumble.
i am contemplating the plants that i need for the tank....i have been doing some research of late....and i find several plants that i think might be ideal.....i would welcome some suggestions on species as well as placement????
okay....so there isn't anyone on here with advice on plants ...so i bought a few and put them in my 28 gallon instead....but i'm trying to find out what plants would do well in low to moderate lighting and a ph of 7.8-8.0???...don't hit and run fella's .....give me some pointers would you please.....
its really dependent on watts per gallon and c02 usage. with low light and no c02 you could get away with some amazon/ruffle swords. you also have to make sure that the plants you choose coincide with your fish so they don't become nipped/eaten. tell us what your plans are for fish, wpg and whether you plan on using c02 or not. that will help you decide what can/cannot go in your tank
i'm not using a co2 ....and the light is what came with the tank...i'd prefer to put some hardy things in there that are pretty hard to kill....not really knowlegeable about watts per gallon....i have 2 daffodils and 2 convicts plus a large cat right now....
i got the tank at fish r fun on 529 and eldridge....got the tank, stand, filter, they give rocks but i opted to pay the difference and get sand, a net, chemicals, heater, light, lid, everything ready to go for 500.00.... it's a 100 gallon.....i'm very happy with it big time....check those guys out these tanks are awsome....and thanks for the compliment...
