  • Xenotilapia "Ochrogenys Ndole" with Enantiopus Kilesa

Anyone know if Xeno "Ochrogenys Ndole" can be kept with "kilesa" in a 6' 180 without fear of cross breeding or aggression towards each other?

Currently have a group of 8 (3/5F) Kilesas in the tank.

    180 - reef
    30 - reef

I see the xenos as being more aggressive than the enantiopus . . . though I have never personally kept the two in the saem tank myself. It could work . . . one way to find out! If it doesn't work, then you can give me those kilesa.

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

      Awesome fish huh?

I just don't want to screw up a good thing I got going in that tank right now....absolutely zero aggression. It's almost like a hyper mellow community tank.

i had asked a very prominet fish keeper this question last week...i was told that being the body shape is so diffrent that in all likelyhood they would not crossbreed...also if either one or the other of the fish a biparenal sorry for spelling you will not have any crossbreeding....

I wouldn't be worried about crossbreeding, but aggression. They are both bottom dwellers and unless you have a very large footprint I see alot of fighting over territory.

edit: noticed you have a 180. that seems to small IMO with the fish you already have.
