  • Peacock fight

Down to the last OB. I know there's a pretty wild mix in this tank, but I thought malawi peacocks and haps got along better. They're always kiling each other. I got home yesterday to find one of the top fish (ob pc) behind the heater. Dude was burnt really bad. I trashed him. I removed the two main bullies (6 in c. Moori and 6 in d. Comp) from the tank. Now these guys are fighting over who's the boss. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSigUuzkQSk

Yeah, too aggressive. Even my yellow labs kill eachother. I know mixing mbuna and pc/ hap are frowned upon, but these are the fish my roomate chose. The mbuna pick on the other mbuna, and the pc pick on other pc for the most part. There are no females besides labs in the tank. I don't think the large holey rock provides enough cover being that only the smaller fish can fit in the holes. Oh well.
