  • WC Tropheus sp. Moori "Chaitika"

    Hey BOXers!

I imported these tropheus a new months ago and wanted to share.

    They bred decently so far.

Let me know what you guys think?

Should I keep or sell? I really need space for some other fishes. :(

Your group looks like it has nice sunspots and nice blue dorsals. You don't always see these traits with Chaitika. I would keep them for no other reason than they are great specimens of what the variant should look like.
    120g - Tropheus Moorii Kambwimba
    180g - Petrochromis Macrognathus Dine/Tropheus Moorii Namansi I

          20 WC with extra females.

I vented and got 6 males or 7 males. Some trios or better.

They breed decently there is anyways a female holing.

Thanks Gene! They are OK looking.

I have to move my MH fixture over the tank to show the true colors on these fish. Low lighting will show poorly.

I really like them. Only had them for maybe 3 months but you know how I like rare fish. I might keep them a little longer just to shoot some more pictures then sell them. :)

Thanks man, you know I take are of all my fishes good.

I been keeping petros and tropheus for 5 years going on 6. Just something about these fish that I love.

Hype comes and go, the true lovers always keep the fish they love no matter of hype.

That's why I look up to people like Geoff and John. both old school and both just love the same fishes.
