How many troph keepers out there use salt in their setups?

I know many will argue that's needed or that's not, but i'm just wondering.
I use 1tbs per 5 gallon but only used 1tbs/5gallons for the water i replaced when i didnt a 50% w/c yesterday since i'm considering not using salt anymore.
I'm only considering this b/c every time i do a w/c i use the old water on the trees, plants and yard around the house.

I add a little Epsom salt to my tanks about once a month or so . I use it as a laxative to help clean out their systems .

You really don't have to use it at all..if you don't want to . I have gone months without salt and have had zero problems . I just use it every once in a while as a "Colon Cleanse" for the fish . Lol !! Seriously , though.....I try to use a little once a month.......but most of the time I forget and it goes longer than a month . Personally , I think that a high flow tank aids in digestion .
