Looking good b. I kinda like the wood where it is. Gives the tank and interesting depth of field.

Those little guys are so cool.
Yeah, the furcata rainbows are awesome!! Really active, which makes the white clouds look really dull. They've never really been discussed in the context of dither for shellies, so I'm excited to try it out once the tank is a little more stable. I'll add the pearly occies I have then and see how things work out.All bleeding stops eventually...

Oh, I just love those fish! So delicate and colorful! Very pretty!
Your wood has a very freeform design which lets the fish swim in and out which is really nice. I think the only thing I'd suggest is to maybe pull the main arch off-center to continue with the freeform flow. Maybe try the golden ratio concept.Vicki

Ok. I'll just come out and say it. The original wood scape was somewhat distracting, even while ignoring the rocks.
I've re-scaped and replaced the carbon with recharged Purigen. Once it settles, I'll post some pics... it's a little cloudy right now. I think there's a lot more free space now and it somewhat follows the golden ratio. Pics to follow in a couple hours! I'll need your guys' advice for sure. All bleeding stops eventually...

Well, it's still cloudy but it's been settling for a little over an hour. Looks somewhat sparse but I kinda like it. It almost has a wasteland feel to it... lol! Let me know what you guys think. Feel free to comment on the rocks this time too. The ones in the middle are a bit contrived, I know, but that's just cuz that middle branching piece is still floating, so I need them as anchors. I'll make them more haphazard once the wood waterlogs. The shells placement won't matter because the shellies will arrange them however they want... which is something I can't wait to see!!
