Brichardi Mill

Folks these brichardi just keep having a new batch of fry like every two weeks or there abouts. I estimate there are now somewhere around 125 fry or more. All of different sizes and ages.  I bet there are six different broods of fry according to their sizes.

Should I be concerned with their increasing numbers like this, the one thing I have noticed is that there do not seem to be as many when they do get bigger, but then again, their soooooo good at hiding, I can't be sure how many there are of each size....and or total numbers of all fry....

Do you have these guys isolated to their own tank or are they in with other fish???  How big are your largest ones at this time?  How many adults do you have?

The tank is 75 gallon tall, there are Six Adult Brichardi and two catfish. The catfish do not seem to have much of an impact on the fry, none that is noticable anyway.
The biggest fry are about 3/4 of an inch in length.

Are you guys having the same population explosions with the Multi's that you guys have?  I would really like to get some of those from you if you have some to sell or trade.

No, just the opposite with the shellies, the group that I keep (maybe 15) only has had one baby in 45 days.
And, if you can't find any closer to you, you're welcome to a few from us if you wanna make the drive.

I might be thinning/swapping out some multi juvis here shortly if another sale goes through I will be upgrading my multi's to a much bigger tank with more floor space.

oh btw.....my brichardi were doing the dance again today....so i imagine i'll be having even more fry too....sheesh....they breed like rabbits...
