    Pelvicachromis Pulcher or Kribensis.kribensis fry.jpg
I got four of these little pretty colored fish about a year ago. Two males and two Females. They fought with each other all the time. So I split the tank and them apart. Its a big tank so they both have lots of space. After I split the group they (both pairs) started hiding. Well now we know why. If you look close you can see the fry swimming around their Mother. Not sure how many but they are all over the place in this side of the tank. Mother is doing well taking care of them. Babies are eatting well. The other pair are still hiding...

How wonderful! Congratulations! I have Pelvicachromis fry, as well. I adore these fish. They're so interesting in how they care for their young. So much more than most other fish.

Sorry about your luck with the male. Fry seem to be doing good and growing fast. Any idea on total number?

More then 20. less then 30. I think the male was having a little snack. thats why the female did what she had to do...
