I have none that look like this but i know whos his moma ....but such a nice youngen. Its so hard for me to keep fry...seems like they get picked off one by one till im left with a single darn fry. that makes it.
Have you ever considered putting the fry in a grow out tank? While your tank is great for showing off the fish themselves, it doesn't seem to provide very many hiding places for the fry.
Sounds like your fish are rather energetic breeders! Maybe you can add more hiding places for the fry in your tank to help them out a little?
If you ever wanted to give them out, I could try a few in my tank. My yellow lab fry are able to make it in my tank by hiding in the rocks. I'm about to change the scape, but there should still be plenty of hiding places for fry in the new design. I love watching the fry peeking out of their hiding places at feeding time and darting back in when another fish comes around. Really cute to watch!
When I decide I want to keep a set of fry I separate out the mother into a small tank (6-20 gallons) then wait until she spits. I've got a 6G, 10G, 15G, and two 20G tanks for growouts in order to keep them separate.
