The ones from Karilani were given the moniker "Firecracker."

            :)

It is about the only decent photo that I have been able to take. I have a REALLY old digital camera. Maybe I'll get a new digital camera for Christmas...

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

oh and i think i have the normal color variant of Neo L. they are bright bright Yellow, with a hint of orange. i have seen them change color though depending on substrate color, seems they get darker with darker substrate. and vise versa

Mine have a hint of purple in them when the alpha male really colors brightly you can in the light see some purple... he looks great... and the blue under his eyes shows really nicely... I cannot wait for them to be moved into the new tank I am sitting up for them.. I am getting really excited about it.
I am changing my 58 from a south American tank into a Neolamprologus leleupi and Neolamprologus brichardi tank..  using a white eco cichlid + pool filter sand as subtrate and a texas holey rock backdrop with some caves etc in the system.  Getting the rock next weekend and I am getting the Brichardi tonight !!
I promise I will post pictures when I have it all setup :)
