  • New Freshwater African Cichlid setup

Well, I have been keeping saltwater fish for a while and figured its time to try freshwater :)

I am planning to keep some African cichlids and have setup a 50 gallon setup for now.

Here's a pic of the setup so far. No fish yet as still waiting for the tank to cycle. It's been about 2 weeks so I expect about a couple of more weeks before I can add fish..

Now since i am new to cichlids, any suggestions on the type of fush to keep is greatly appreciated. I have seen some very bautiful fish on this forum but don't know what their names are, so please excuse me if I ask too many questions..:)

    Thanks,
    Hangman..
