      So now there are three bowers but the one to the far right is unclaimed from what I can see. Maybe the male who dug it will feel safe enough to stay there as time goes on. The male on the one to the far left is getting a black tint to his fins now and I think you can see that in the vids.

              Now there are 4 males total tending to a bower, all in the left half of the tank, inches from one another. WTH?

              The first one to color up is getting darker and the second one with a bower is coloring up. The other two males should follow very soon.

                On the tanganyikan video it showed sand sifters with a sea of bowers are neighboring one another. Might be how they are?

                    IME once they start digging, the fins will lengthen and their lyretails will start growing. Then they just more spectacular as they get bigger
