Ok good. Just making sure. The babies love the rocks. Eating like pigs.

The tank got 6 new occupants today, but one was lost to a territory dispute with one of the male Foai. That would be a group of Xenotilapia Ochrogenys Ndole Bay. The others are doing well, doing their thing as only they know how...

                      • It's generally a good rule of thumb to only have one sand dweller/sifter per tank. Territory is at a premium and, well, you saw what can happen. If the tank is gigantic this rule can be flexible, but in such a small tank it is unlikely that it'll work out long term. Nice fish though. I've always wanted to keep them myself

Was aware of this going in, but decided to go ahead anyway to see the outcome. As of yesterday evening when I took that vid, the xenos were staying out of the two male foais' areas. With 8 other foai and 10 cyps to distract the male foai, I think the xenos will hold their own here on out.
