Any troph venting experts out there?

Are there any troph venting experts out there that could help me vent my Tropheus Ilangi colony?

Not an expert but I've seen a vent here and there.

How old are they or what size? If they've been breeding or attempting to breed it makes it easier.

To add, I've seen a decent about of illangi vents too if that makes any difference. LoL

They are adults and large juvies. They have bred before but I think I have to many of them together for them to breed more often. It would be nice if someone could come over.

There's no reason they would, when I had 90 illangi in the 125g breeding wasn't hindered. Are they kept by themselves?

Yes, I am just wondering if there are to many males in the tank. Thinking maybe I should cull some of the males.

Its not too difficult al. Get your self a magnifying glass with a light built in and check this out http://www.trophs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18197 after you do a few youll get the hang of it. This is how I started venting my colony.

Seems like finding a magnifying glass with a light built in is harder than venting. Good link. I've looked at that link a few times to get clarification. They are similar to us humans.

not that hard to find pretty sure i got mine at HEB. My grandparents always had then for crosswords and such. pretty sure you can get them almost anywhere walgreens, walmart, book stores.
