  • 180g Tanganyikan Biotope

This is the new scape i did for my Fronts. I wanted to infuse traditional Iwagumi styles with a natural biotope and this is what I came up with. This is the same tank that I've had for 3 or 4 years now and I'm never satisfied so I constantly change it up. My Fronts seem to really like this layout. They share the space with two breeding groups of WC Leleupi, a WC Gold Head Compressicep and a group of Syn Petricola. All of your comments or critics are welcome...

Thanks. To be completely honest, this scape kinda built itself. It took me about 30 minutes total and i've added a rock here and there but i think its done now.

Very nice layout and I really like the sloping on the two mounds. My issues are the constant digging, seems my tangs never like my scapes and need tweaking, lol

Beautiful pic and scape. My Moba were always so peaceful (except the occasional squabble), and your scape reflects that quality. Nice job!

Looks good, I like the rock placement a lot, also. Good flow. Just goes to show, fussing with it too much doesn't always pay off. Personally, I firmly believe I do my best 'scaping after a few drinks, probably for that reason!

Thanks everyone for the comments. Within the next week or so, I'll be adding a few more Leleupi and a lot more Syn Petricola to help fill in the next bottom region of the tank

I was in San Antonio and stopped by Dave's shop yesterday.

He has all kinds of petricola's in stock.
