ok, good. nope, everyone's still there. i took these pics right after i filled it up. water looks cloudy because the rocks were still bubbling and everything was kinda stirred up, plus the fish were checking out all the new caves the new rocks provided for them. i'll re-take some tonight

i almost like the contrast with these new rocks against the pineapples/petros better than the holey rock...or maybe i was just getting really tired of it. ha

I agree, I like the new rocks too. The look like small chunks of granite or something...nice.

Well, it's been quite awhile since I've updated this. Female spit 3 fry two days ago (maybe more), and they're already going at it again. I've sort of neglected this tank more than I'd like to this semester due to my hectic schedule, so I plan on completely re-scaping and flushing the system out either tonight or tomorrow night so pics to follow. Also, contemplating going bare bottom for awhile. Partly because I'm battling these stupid-a$$ malaysian trumpet snails

I did. He removed his substrate as well, which he claimed to eliminate over 90% of them. That's my first move.

I have some in both 30g tanks. None in my [s:4d8d887200]150 or[/s:4d8d887200] 200  or 215 (that I know of).
