yeah, everyone seems to be doing fine. i added the trophs and extra petro one day during a large water change and re-scape. after i filled it i left the lights off for the rest of the night, and since then everyone's been doing great!

I've also got everyone on aquarian flakes. this week after a water change, im going to slowly start integrating the pellets in with their meal.

Awesome man.  I got mine on a 50/50 NLS and Aquarian Flakes.  I still think they prefer the flakes better anyhow..

Update:

I caught the male petro I added from the 55 (where the chimba's came from) flexin' up against the big male of the colony. Didn't want to chance it or lose one, so I put him with the fronts until I get another 6 footer. I can't say that I'm surprised, I figured it would happen eventually...oh well

Good move though, I lost two male mobas yesterday from a dominance issue.

8O no way! that sucks dude. how many did you start with?

The whole time the original male was added with the colony, his color was way different. His eggspot dissapeared, spots faded and the majority of his body turned into a pale orange/brown...kinda like a moshi. The colony however, was a dark brown and all males were showing eggspots. The original male and the biggest male hung out on opposite ends of the tank, and I figured it was fine until they crossed paths. They flashed up and swam in circles rapidly. I wasn't too worried at first until I woke up the next morning to find a small peice of the original petro's caudal fin missing. So that evening I broke the tank down and separated him from the colony along with re-scaping the original set up.
