Well, I'm actually pretty happy with my results now. The tank has been bare bottom now for a little over 2 months. There's not a single MTS in the display or the sump, which I have been flushing out heavily each weekly water change. During this process I have also gone through 2 bottles of Snail-A-Way. I found that the handful of MTS that were left in the system had attracted themselves to the last source of food (the overflow box sponges), so I have been replacing them with new ones every month and have seen a dramatic difference. I'm now at the point to where I'm in the final days of extracting the remaining copper out of the system. I plan on adding new, snail-free, aragamax back into the system tomorrow, followed by 10 Assasin snails (courtesy of Tim :)) to finish off any of the MTS that I may have missed.

When I first saw them I figured they were like Nassarius snails for SW. Now that I got them I was right... very similar. From what I have been noticing in my tank is with the helena's in the sand the MTS are scared out of the sand, very little "assasinating".700g Mini-Monster tankComment

Well, I'll get more if I can find more, or get more from Tim if he has any left. But that's all I had ordered at the time. It's been 2 weeks since sand has been back into the system and I still haven't seen a single MTS. I actually see the assasins move in and out of the substrate quite often. Also dropped a few into the sump. Can't wait for these halidesComment
