The black gravel washed them out in a sense but the opposite I guess? it made the black lines bleed into the white so the stripes were undefined. Also at times the black would over power the metallic blue that the Mobas have on their head and fins which I didn't like.

Ek, what did you use to hold the felt up.  I was having trouble getting tape to hold the felt.  I ended up stampling duct tape to the felt and attaching it to the tank with the tape.

Well the overflow box itself has a nylon screw that sits against the glass....but I used clear packaging tape to hold it up.

Did I not post the new pictures with the felt background?





I remembered someone here mentioning using cloth backdrop and meat paper.......so it lead me to the felt....I am really sorry but I forgot who it was to receive the credit for it....but I have an idea of who it was or at least a group....dblondfemme(the paper), Tim?zulaab?brownsnout?(cloth)

yup.....me the cheapo..... suggested butcher paper....
However.. I do not recommend white.  I think it literally drove one of my plecos nuts.  It created a pretty bad reflection and he was constantly trying to get at the other pleco (that did not exist)
The darker colors work better.

Ek -  I am pretty sure it was one of the ladies... because they mentioned something about going to Michael's for material.. but then again I am used to being wrong on so many quotes these days.   One of these days I am thinking i am just going to look for a new brain...

I have a strong feeling that it was Tim.....if we could trade in brains then I'm sure we would all be worthless to each other since everyone would probably want to get a smart brain so there would be no need to learn from one another.
